Below are photos from May 2009, just over a year old.  I put her in with the Arab mare and her foal so I could ride the mare.  Belle was the only one I could find who wouldn't pick on the kid once mom was out of the pasture!

Below are pictures from July 5 at 14 months.  She really is black, just not looking it in these photos LOL.

Belle's dam is 15 hands (and the sweetest, most agreeable, willing and trainable mare who ever lived)  and she is a good size for her age with a nice amount of bone and good sized feet.  I tested her dam for HERDA and she is N/N. I just found out her sire was tested last year and is negative..  I've sporadically done some Clinton Anderson type ground exercises with her and she's been an excellent pupil.  She's generally kept outside, but is fine in a stall.  Below video was taken June 14, 2009. She's turned out to be a great baby sitter and playmate for the colt while I rode the mare. .  Newer video added from April 24, 2010.
